I feel mesmerised by luscious landscapes, overwhelmed by the sublime and the intricacies of life. How can such small fragments of matter conjure creations beyond belief.
The colossal height of forests, engulfed by the earthy wear each branch has made their own. The sheer weight of a single stone capable of flattening civilisations.
And yet kisses from morning dew and caressing jagged skin soothes me.
Their permanence I will never know of, but perhaps these beings of nature are reminders to me, that I am made of such qualities and matter.
Cloth, Stick and Stone.
All collected from this garden you’ve sown, I will erect unfathomable fabrications with your guidance.
Perhaps I may reach the same heights as the trees and mountains before I am called.
But, as I have come from the soil,
I will find my place on the ground
once more.
